peanut butter allergy …?
should we go to the ER? i gave my baby a little bit of peanut butter yesterday, he liked it and didn’t have any initial allergic reactions but this showed up this morning and has gone away.
no shortness of breath or any other symptom, but he also didn’t have any poops all day today (it’s been about 24 hours now since last poop when he usually has at least two poops, morning and around noon or late noon).
has anyone else dealt with peanut allergies? should i take him to ER?

Can you call your pediatrician nurse line for advice? That’s what I would suggest. If baby is breathing and eating I wouldn’t stress about the poop yet.
I would try putting it on his skin next time, instead of feeding it to him! Like a little on his hand
Please don't put any allergens on the body! We made this mistake, the doctor told us not to. When put on the body, the body can think this is something that needs to be fought with and can produce an allergic reaction. When eaten the body learns that this is food, so something that shouldn't be fought with.
We put all the main allergens on the baby's body (milk, egg, seafood, peanut, etc). No reaction at all. And after a few months we found that she was allergic to lots of products, including peanuts, eggs, milk, soya) :(
