My niece has too, she just finished kindergarten. It's sad but the kids doing it are being taught it from somewhere, most likely their own parents, and mimic how they see their parents treat others and those parents never even take accountability that they're the reason their child knows how to be a bully because they were raised by one

What sort of bullying?

Have you talked to the educators about it? Does your son tell his teachers when the other kids are upsetting or hurting him? If you have had conversations with the educators and nothing has improved, talk to the principal. You can even request for your child to switch teachers next year it sperate them from their bully. Don't stop advocating for your child. 🫶
hitting and name calling. He gets shoved around a lot, kicked at nails digged into his skin. Kids have spat on him.
I’ve talked to his teachers numerous times and they’re all aware. His teachers are great but it keeps happening. I have a meeting with them tomorrow as well. I just never thought my son would have to deal with this at 4 years old.
this is exactly what I think as well. It’s really sad. They’re so young but so mean.

I am so sorry. Maybe it's time to have a conversation with the principal then on the next steps. Your child should feel safe in school.
Not to make any excuses, but is the child bullying your son special needs and you son happens to be his target?
Is it one child or multiple children bullying him?
I think that is going to be a good idea. The principal has been horrible since day one. Hopefully she will be empathetic. Nope my son is a normal 4 year old! He’s super gentle and I think that’s why he’s targeted. He will never hit back and just cries. Telling the teacher isn’t helping him either.

I’m so sorry that this is happening. It breaks my heart just to read about it. I can’t imagine what you and your sweetest little guy must be going through.
I’m sure you must have already told your baby how proud you are of him for taking the high road at such a young age. Being a bully is easy but being kind and gentle at this young age is truly commendable.
Hope this stops soon.

No I was asking if the child bullying your son was special needs and your son is their target. As a kindergarten educator, that scenario, although not ok, is much harder. Feel free to PM me I can give you some questions to ask the educators about how they are dealing with it and next steps if admin aren't willing to step in and help or it doesn't improve.
