Also, it might be the bottles you use. My boy was vomiting and being sick. I gave him Aptamil sensitive. And Tomee Tipee Advance anticolic bottles. It helped. I agree with the burping. Every two ounces.
How long have you been on the new formula?
Am on the mam anti colic bottles, am feeding him upright and winding him but he tries to fight it, he’s been on the new formula for a few days
Definitely recommend Hipp anti reflux (just make sure the teats sizes as it’s really thick formula.
It took us a while to work out the best formula as we would always get vomit. Ended up with anti colic/reflux formula with the tomee tipee colic bottles which slow down the flow which helped. We also burped once or twice in between the feed which made a huge difference. It was all trial and error, good luck 😊
Could it be the way you’re feeding him? My baby is EBF but will spit up quite a bit occasionally. I found that when he is feeding upright there is less chance of him spitting up, occasionally burping between the feed is good to do too, every two ounces or so in between. Once in the middle and once after the bottle is finished
