We did paced feeding. Basically make sure they are upright feeding and that they aren't gulping down the milk (google paced feeding, videos tutorial should pop up). I would then burp baby. If burping doesn't occur lay them down for five mins then try again. This always worked for me and they immediately burped. I sat them up for a couple mins and used a wedge pillow to keep them elevated.
My baby had reflux when she was a month - 2 months old. I was feeding her formula + breast milk. So the doctor said that’s common. Our nurse suggested the following. 1. Feed in upright position (with a slight angle) instead of laying down. 2. Keep them in upright position for at least 20 mins after feeding. 3. Make sure they burp after feeding. Gentle pat or rub their back. The change in feeding angle made a huge difference for us. We also stopped formula soon after. So that helped her further. She’s now almost 4.5 months and doesn’t have any of those painful episodes anymore. I hope your baby feels better soon!! ❤️
