@Tisa Thank you!
I noticed all our natural creams we tried pretty much always made the diaper rash worse. Too much moisture. So the spray I just commented about is best bet and then in her folds when she gets hot spots I put organic corn starch and it’s gone in 24 hours
The spray is great! But tbh I've had to use desitin here and there especially overnight. Have tried a bunch of natural brands and nothing has really worked. What worse diaper rash vs. Toxic Ingredients? 🫣
We have tried many things for diaper rash but one of the best remedies for us has been a bath with 1-2 tablespoons of baking soda! The baking soda helps kill off the bacteria that is causing the rash.
@Katelynn wow will def try this! And then do you use another cream when putting on the diaper?
@Katherine After bath I just make sure the area is really dried out (either patting dry or just blowing on it gently) then I usually use Aquaphor diaper rash cream 😬 I know it's not EWG cert but it's what usually gets it healed the fastest and for me that's what's most important. Our doc always says put a ton on, then when you think it's enough put a little more just to really make sure you have a barrier built up especially overnight. Usually with the baking soda bath and that it's gone within a day or two, even some of his worst rashes. I hope it helps!
My daughter reacts well using water wipes and Maty's multipurpose ointment
Weve only had ONE diaper rash and baby is 6months old. We use hylands diaper Cream. All natural!!
So my daughter gets bad rashes I’m talking blisters super red 😭 When she starts getting a rash and it’s not getting any better, I put oatmeal oats *not the ones in the pack* , but just natural oats I put it in a clean sock one I don’t care to throw away I just get 2 cups and put it in the sock. Tie it up, run the bathwater and tie the sock up to where the water is running over the sock and I let her soak in the bath and then, when it’s time to bathe her, I take the sock and I bathe her with the oatmeal. It has helped her sooo much from getting blisters!
I also use corona ointment and that to me has been the best for her sensitive skin❤️
@Katelynn my daughter has such sensitive skin it always has some sort of redness or scratches from something and 1 bath in baking soda cleared it up!!! Ty so much!!!!!!!
@Katherine I'm so glad it helped!! ❣️ My little guy has his dad's sensitive skin too 😮💨 so I can totally relate! lol!
Oh I just use cornstarch. And sometimes just have no diaper at all.
I would recommend some diaper free time if you can, fresh air is really good to help soothe the skin. Sometimes the darkness and moisture of the diapers contributes to slow healing
