My ten week old baby boy has very little hair on his head, seems to be growing very slowly. When can I expect it to grow faster? Appreciate every baby is different but I have long thick hair so was slightly concerned 😅

My little one (17 weeks) is the same, and is also losing hair at the back of her head now that she is moving more in her crib :(
My husband and I both have very thick hair so surprised she didn’t come out with a whole head! Castor oil is meant to do wonders for hair growth so may try massaging that on her head

My son had a full head of hair when born it never changed and then around 16 ISH weeks it started to fall out he went bald for a bit and then it grew back he's now just shy of 13 months and is back to a full head of hair we've recently just cut for the first time. Their first fine baby hair tends to all fall out and make way for their thicker hair to grow in

It really depends! Some babies have basically no hair their whole first year of life (like a lot less than your little one) and some have so much. There isn’t necessarily a rhyme or reason

Ummm still waiting for my 15 month old to have as much as she did at birth 😂 it really varies but also it's not just your hair genes they inherited so I wouldn't go in with too much expectation.

Mine was born with a head full of hair. Then after a few weeks starting losing it, but eventually stopped. Now at 4.5 months she has some areas where she still has her newborn hair (which is now longer) and some other balder areas where the new hair has started growing but with little progress. It looks a bit funny but cute nevertheless. I wouldn’t worry

My 6mo little boy has hardly any
Thanks all, your responses are reassuring! 😄
