I have had both. Which didn’t work out for the other party both times. The first time was an older woman who was in another department working with my department and felt like she could bully me because she had 20 years my senior. I kindly informed her that we were equals and that if she had an issue to direct her concerns to management or I could do it for her. She chose to continue so I got upper management involved and she was moved to a different shift. The 2nd time was upper management. I was fired. But I took the high road and thanked them for their time and opportunity then reported them to the better business bureau, Glassdoor, indeed and university intern programs 😊 they haven’t been able to keep employees or clients since.

I was sexually harassed and then retaliated against after I turned down my former supervisor’s advances. Things got really scary, because I was afraid and just wanted to focus on my job without being bothered. That wasn’t really possible and I should have spoken up sooner. I suffered until I found another job, but I should have let them fire me or have gone on short term disability to protect my mental health lol. That usually helps a case. Look into EEOC discrimination. Mine ended up being one of the forms of discrimination based on sex, and then some other things. The process was hell, but I took it to court after filing a complaint. They were found guilty.. make sure you are documenting every single occurrence, date and time. Keep a diary. Inbox me if you want to talk

I was bullied and harassed but just different people and situations. I was bullied by a guy will call him C once he found out I was going to be a teen mom. He would constantly treat me unfair. Talk bad about me. He would constantly ask why I didn’t be safer then he told me that I didn’t deserve a kid and he also told me and the cook that he hoped our kids would die basically. It was traumatic to say the least. We told management but our manager didn’t care. After our cook and the guy almost got in a fist fight C finally quit.

He now works at McDonald’s and looks miserable and I’m a SAHM living my best life lol

The harassment was a guy I worked with at a grocery store. He was close to all of us but I guess got to comfortable and targeted me. We did carts alone one night and I thought everything was normal besides some weird moments that made me uncomfy like conversations he would make. I went on break and he went inside from carts and told the dudes at self checkout he was gonna come out to my car and moon me. He didn’t but he kept circling my car when he came back out and I was so uncomfortable I got my bat. I luckily didn’t need it and went inside and they told me what he said he was gonna do. Later on that night he came up to me and my other co worker and had condoms in a cart and said we would be needing these tonight. The next day I wrote a big complaint to HR and I guess it got around. The manager I knew wasn’t gonna do anything about it cuz was his uncle. But he ended up getting called to the office and we still don’t know if he quit or got fired.

He now works at target near me and I get so uncomfy going in the store lol

I have recently. Awful experience. I spoke to HR who were then able to sort out the matter.

I was bullied for over a year. My manager tried to help, but the new HR person and upper management blamed me. The guy hated that I was a woman and could do the same job better than him. I ended up taking a few weeks off for mental health and then it just started up again as soon as I got back. The guy was careful in what he said trying to make me seem crazy. Most of my coworkers knew the situation and tried to back me up. Nothing was ever done stop the bullying. I eventually quit because it had my head messed up. It was very difficult keeping a job after that, because I was getting such bad panic attacks. It’s almost been two years. It’s getting better but I still get so angry about the whole situation.

Go to HR. You should never be bullied, especially by a manager. If it's not documented, it didn't happen- so report it to someone.
