How do I stop baby falling asleep at the breast?

My baby is 6 weeks old and I am training him to breastfeed during the day and bottle with my expressed milk at night. With bottle he is done with his 120mls in about 20-25 mins but at the breast he will be there for 1-1.5hrs and still not be full after because he keeps falling asleep. I have tried to undress him, tickle him, blow on his face, unlatch and relatch.. everything you name it! It’s making the bf ineffective as I need to top up after so he doesn’t wake up hungry in like 30 minutes.. Any suggestions?

Following bc Girl, same.

No advice as such..but I dont blame him 💜 Breastfeeding is not only food, but also a source of comfort, security and pain relief. My 5 month old baby falls asleep at the breast also. She wakes up 3 or 4 times a night to feed. It's perfectly natural. This is why breastfed babies are a decreased risk of SIDS - because they wake regularly to feed.

Breastfeeding is hard work for them so they do exhaust them selves while feeding ( completely normal) bottles are super easy that’s why they do it quicker

Following this as I’m getting the same. Has anyone found any tips to manage this?
