I thought I had read somewhere a long time ago that a baby's hair doesn't need any products until about 2 or 3?
I've been trying to let my baby's hair come into its own before introducing anything. She's 13 months now and her curls are starting to get thick in the back.
Should I start introducing leave in conditioners and styling products now?
If yes, any that have worked for this texture hair?*
*I swear I also read that you don't even know their texture hair for certain until they're older. Embarrassingly, I can't even remember where I read this stuff so please do challenge me on any of it 🥴

The little messy curls are cutee💜

You could use olive oil or something similar for now. It will keep it moisturized and it's safe to eat.

My LO has similar hair I think.. we use child's farm curly collection and it works well.. isn't too heavy or greasy and makes those curls pop nicely x

They have baby hair products so I'm sure after they turn one your fine

U can but pretty much anything u use on her hair type/amount will leave it weighed down/greasy looking. Id mix a light leave in with water in a spray bottle and spritz in the mornings.

I use the brand ‘curly kids’ shampoo, conditioner, and leave in moisturizer and it’s been good for my 2 year olds hair. Her curls are still soft so they get messy/frizzy throughout the day, like from wearing a hat or sleeping. But I just make sure to do it once in the morning and then let it be on its own.
