My son is worrying me.

My 16 month old just woke up and I’m kind of worried he doesn’t have a fever. His body feels cool. It’s not hot but he’s sweating as if he’s got cold sweats he woke up really fussy which is unusual for him. He usually wakes up super happy, smiling, and playful Woke up crying. I went and got him and he immediately just laid down on my shoulder and tried to go back to sleep. I changed his butt which he cried about as well which normally isn’t a thing and literally just wanted me to pick him up and hold him, he laid down on me and went back to sleep, and he usually doesn’t fall asleep unless he’s in his bed, I’m just not sure how to help him since he isn’t running a fever or anything. I’m not sure what to even make of it.

I would call his pediatricians line and let them know and ask what you should do they are usually very helpful. If I’m worried or unsure about something I call and theyll either patch me right over or if they’re busy they call back

Agree with @Tanashia. Until then let him cuddle and sleep, keep him hydrated since he’s clearly fighting something off. If he gets worse before you talk with the pediatrician you can always go to an ER.

Take him to the ER might be a infection that he's trying to fight off

Thanks y’all. He just wanted more sleep. lol he slept another hour and got up all happy

I’m happy he started feeling better 🤗!
