Custody Advice (FL)

Asking for what are the next steps we should be taking. Bm has threatened many times to withhold the kids on our time. Last night was the 1st time she actually went through with it. In addition, it says in our agreement that on even years (this year), we get to have the kids on their birthdays. My youngest sk birthday is on Friday, and bm is refused to let us see him. This is the second time she has broken our agreement this week.
We are just feeling defeated and don't know what to do. We don't have tons of money to go into another custody battle. She already took everything. My poor husband is falling apart not being able to see his kids.

Take her to court. Look up pro bono lawyers. Or maybe let her know you're looking into lawyers if she doesn't change her actions and see if that fixes it.

Not sure if it works in your state but your lawyer may be able to put in the paperwork that you’re suing for breach of custody and that bm covers all legal fees.

If your custody agreement is filed with the court, if you don't get your children per that document, it is kidnapping. Seems a little extreme, but if it continues it is the cheapest option to just call the police.

File a contempt of custody order on her for 2 violations. Get the text messages showing she violated; however, make sure the name/phone number isn’t saved as anything offensive.
