How is everyone feeling?

I’m due July 25 and I’m tired! Having Braxton hicks 😩bad, can’t sleep at night hard to comfortable, back hurt omg it’s almost the end. I’m having my baby shower 💙June 2 I’m excited. I got 11 weeks to go. 🥹

The third trimester definitely came in like a wrecking ball 🫠. We’re having a baby shower about 4 weeks before, too, and I’m a little nervous about the timing

Our baby shower just got cancelled. I just got diagnosed with gestational diabetes and told I had gained to much weight, even though it wasn't affecting the baby. Otherwise everything except my moods have been fine...I keep having sudden mood changes lol...I have about 10 more weeks

that’s what’s keeping me up at night lol. We planned it in January when I was young and dumb lol. Now I’m like umm, this is pretty close. How is your baby shower planning going?

my mother in law is planning that one. My brother is planning another closer to our hometown — I don’t have to do a thing for either, and I couldn’t be more grateful. How is planning going for you?

10 weeks left I feel good but belly is feeling tight, I’m peeing twice an hour and baby girls appetite has increased lol

With my daughter I had my shower planned for when I would be 35 weeks. I had my daughter at 34weeks and almost cancelled it but we still had it and had her on a screen with the NICU camera so she was still “there” with us. I’m not having one this time because I didn’t need to get anything having them so close together but I’m 31 weeks have 8 weeks left for my induction date and struggling to keep up with a toddler😅

I’m in survival mode. Got prodromal labor all night long. Baby is so low I can barely walk. And overall hoping to pass my exam next week that I’m not gonna go into preterm labor with this one 🤞🏻 My house still isn’t ready nor my hospital bag so it’s fun over here

same! I literally have to pee every 30 minutes. I do feel like my appetite is the same but I can’t really exercise as much lol. Walking a mile seems like 10 miles

Got my baby shower this Friday! Will be 32 weeks tomorrow! Baby’s wiggling a little more but still chill as she doesn’t really kick or punch. But loves pushing her back/butt out of my stomach 😆 puts a little more pressure on son my bladder at night in bed when I sleep so sometimes I have a middle of night pee as of recent. I still wake often as I need to change sleeping positions/rotate as I fall asleep inside but wake on back. Just a endless cycle/circle or rotating back and forth throughout night 😭

Tbh ... I'm over it 😭 I have 9 weeks left after Saturday. I'm ready to deliver and lay on my back , side , & stomach peacefully . I had to cancel my baby shower due to being on the verge of high risk pregnancy. I was 50 percent effaced at 26 weeks and now I'm 50% effaced and 2 cm dilated

Since you're already 2 cm dilated can't they just induce you? I'm sorry, this is my first so I'm not sure what's smart and what's not but I'm guessing the baby isn't to far behind growth right now

I hate being preggo and I so far have had an easier pregnancy than many probably. I’m considered high risk for preterm labor so I see a specialist but I haven’t had issues with that so far. But I am ready for her to get out of me 🙈

no inducing before 39 weeks is usually a medical necessity. We really want to give the baby as much time to grow as possible. 37-41 is usually what I call the safe zone for inducing as the lungs have a better chance, immune system likely not compromised, brain function, etc. it’s really beneficial to make it to 37weeks with our babies

So No . They would only induce the labor if I absolutely needed to be due to complications or serious concerns. I've actually done this before and what they usually do is give you steroid shots to help strengthen the babies lungs in case the baby does decide to come on their own. But they will never induce you if they don't have to. And my baby is measuring just a little bit smaller, but that's also not abnormal to me either considering the same thing happened with my daughter. I actually go in tomorrow for an ultrasound to check his growth .

I’m tired. lol and my back hurts. And it’s getting harder to breath 🫠

i'm happy for you that you haven't had any issues! Definitely not easy. Especially when high risked pregnancy is considered🫠 I'm definitely ready to be pregnancy free lol

I hope everything works out for you! And yes! I still don’t feel like my normal pre pregnancy self. But generally everything’s been smooth so far. Having a belly is such a nuisance 😅 I can’t squeeze/fit through things/objects anymore. The bump gets in the way 😂

31 weeks today and feeling good! Took a shower and was out of breath and I need about 10 hours of sleep plus a nap, but that’s about it. Already had my baby shower so that’s a relief. Going on babymoon next week and then just anticipating baby girls arrival!

8weeks left for us failed my 3 hour glucose test and have preeclampsia a lot of swelling in my feet arms legs and inflamed gums drs said we will deliver in about 37 or 38 weeks baby shower is the 25 of this month praying for a safe delivery for myself and everyone else can’t wait to meet my daughter 🥹

I was winded walking two blocks with my husband today! We had our baby moon in Cabo last week. Where are yall going?

I take walks on my break at work and I walk so slow now! I’m exhausted by the time I get back to my desk lol ahhh cabo sounds nice!! We’re going to a resort in Santa Cruz for 3 days. My bf just started a new job and he can’t take time off yet so we had to stay kinda close

Feeling pretty good! Just turned 31 weeks and we’re having our shower next weekend. I’ve had some discomfort in my lower abdomen but that is to be expected, right?! My OB says it’s probably just the babes pushing up against my cervix or bladder or some other organ. Otherwise, feeling pretty good! 9 weeks to go 😍

I’m at one mile max on the walking pad right now. I’m starting to get the pregnancy waddle lol. Santa Cruz sounds fun!! We did Cabo bc it was a 2 hour flight. Stayed at nobu and honestly I didn’t want to leave 😭

sorry to hear that! When were you diagnosed? Also check with your insurance if they cover mid wives. Mid wives usually take things slower for you

yes induction is not the way to go if you want an unmedicated birth. You can still opt for the medication that softens your cervix and a foili balloon though. This can get labor rolling and can be monitored during this stage. I had to go through an induction with my first as had hypertension and my son had an umbilical cord issue so I was fully induced but long as you both are not in distress you can get labor going and still go home until your water breaks

you can also do a lot to get labor rolling naturally. I recommend dates, raspberry tea, peanut ball, yoga ball, lots of squats, and walking. If it’s your first I would start now on all of that. Labor can be extremely hard to bring on if it’s your first. Would also look into mighty mama movement for support. They are very experienced doulas and been extremely helpful during my two high risk pregnancies.

please check them out or a doula preferably. We’re getting a doula to slow things down at the hospital as well! I got my walking pad from Amazon like two years ago. Very quiet and convenient

I have felt great this entire pregnancy.
But now in week 30 I am DONE.
My body is done lol I’m just over it now.

Week 31 and 2 days and I am over pregnancy but still trying to keep positive cause baby still needs to cook a bit longer. My baby shower is the 18th of this month and once that is out of the way, it will be full steam ahead getting nursery and everything all ready for little dude to make his entrance 🥰
