Hi! I always said that I didn't need one of them, but I have an old old model of the Béaba Babycook (it was from my nephew, who is 11 now!) and I am very happy with it. I can steam and blend in about 20/30 minutes, all in the same place, so less washing up! Xx

I have a thermomix already it’s like a blender but can cook and steam as well I just used that. If I didn’t, I’d just use my pot steamer and a small smoothie blender. I don’t see the point in wasting money on a purée maker when my baby was only in purées for a week or 2 before he wanted real food anyway. It’s not good to purée for too long, it doesn’t help them chew. There’s been posts on here before where the baby is 14/16m and only ever eats purées.

u have a very valid point. I am only planning to do it until he sits up unsupervised. His 5mos old. And getting there. Hence i started him on puree.
