Any moms have advice regarding the 1 year jab? I’ve read and heard so many moms on here saying their LOs have been so poorly with high temp and all sorts. I am terrified of it, so scared his temp is going to sky rocket and I’m not in the same room as him, so much anxiety. Is there anything I can do prior or straight after or anything that helps LO?

It will all be ok. Give calpol straight after and then ibuprofen before bed and again tomorrow morning. My girl has hers today and that's my plan of action x

Hi my lo was fussy and tired and not wanting solids but no temp it was more just sore limbs and not knowing what to do with herself I would do what Sarah suggested x

thank you so much! I will definitely do that. Just anxious leading up to it and for overnight

thank you, I’m hoping my lo will be ok. Just anxious for when I’m not with him in his room x

Mine had hers yesterday morning and she's not had a temp at all. She is not feeling well from it though so we are having lots of cuddles and comfort feeds and she's sleeping a lot.

I can relate 💕

Mine had hers Tuesday and she screamed the place down, but 5 minutes later she was absolutely fine ☺️ little bit grumpy yesterday, but no temperature and no issues sleeping or eating. I think it depends on the baby but try not to stress about it, just give him Calpol straight after and keep giving it for the rest of the day and the next day if needed xx

All babies are different, so please don’t stress. My baby had her jabs on Tuesday and was more grumpy that day and more wriggly at night, but back to normal after 24hrs, no fever or anything. You might be just fine!

My daughter has hers next week and I’m dreading it cause all I’ve heard are how horrible they are.

My little girl had hers on Tuesday so far so good no temperature but she just seems a little grumpy and more tired than usual x

My LO had hers last Friday and cried for about 2 mins when she had them then was fine. She’s started getting a wee bit of a temperature today and is a bit out of sorts, but she’s also teething with molars so could just as easily be that. The nurse told us she might get temperatures a week-10 days after cos it takes a while for the vaccine to kick in.
