My girl is 13weeks old and has been in her pram instead of bassinet the past 2 weeks. She can hold her own head and it’s helping with her reflux as when she lies down flat she’s constantly sick. She’s enjoying it a lot more as long as she’s comfortable that’s all that matters x

@Phoebe my little one is the same, she’s very sicky, so if we feed her when we are out I can’t lay her back down in for around 20 minutes anyway and she’s just so alert and strong with her head so I think she would be okay!

Definitely sounds the same as my little girl. On most prams you don’t have to have them upright she’s on a recline but not flat which is perfect xx

@Phoebe my little girl is exactly the same and she is finally starting to like her pram more that I have changed it over! X

Use your judgement on this one. Recommendations are 6 months but if you can recline it enough that they aren’t needing to hold their head up, and you’re confident they can breathe fine 🤷🏻‍♀️ We moved our boy over at 4 months and the girl is already showing signs of being annoyed at the bassinet at 3 months so I suspect we will move her early too. She’s got great head control already.

My 3 month old baby is in a buggy (nearly flat but not quite as he enjoys looking at the world as it goes by, he wants to be involved now!)

I was thinking of changing mines for my daughter because she’s got reflux and I’ve found laying flat and the movement in the bassinet has made her more sicky. I have an egg pram so can recline which I plan to use so she’s not too upright. She has good head control able to hold it up when being carried, trying to pull herself up when laying down. She hates being flat unless asleep 😂It’s really individual to your baby but I know of mums who have switched earlier because there baby started to hate being in the pram with no issues
