Breast pumps

Does anyone who’s already had their May baby or had a baby before able to recommend a breast pump? I’m overwhelmed by them all and no idea what to get! Momcozy, pipetta and Elvie all seem popular but then there’s a couple on Amazon one is Bella baby and the other on Amazon is a brand called Momaini - both get really good views and are half the price of momcozy. Any advice is appreciated 😊

I have a pippetta and am happy with it and have bought a second so I don’t have to rely on just the one. I don’t have anything to compare it too apart from the one I used in the hospital which was totally different. Dependent on how much you need to pump, the battery life might not be long enough for you between charges (it’s either 100 or 120mins battery life). It does cut off pumping after 20mins though to save your nipples which is helpful x

I also second pipetta, I had a momcozy before and its good too but pipetta is more affordable and works just the same.

We have a medella, it was gifted to us by a friend who had twins and it's whatghe hospital had recommended to her. She got along really well with it, there are loads on vinted and you can buy the nipple shields new

I have the elvie portable one which was really good but have found it can leak! The suction is good but after being readmitted to hospital and using a hospital grade one I bought the spectra S1 and it's been a game changer for my milk supply. Would get 40-50mls per boob per 15min pump with elvie vs 80-120ml per boob per 15min pump with the spectra (at only 6days pp too) . Bought a bra with it so it's semi hands free (just need go carry the hub around that's the only downside)

I used a Medela Swing (single) with my first. It’s not a wearable pump (unless you buy the pumping bra) but you can use batteries in it if you don’t want to be near a power source. It’s really good! Same brand as used in the hospital x

I have this one this time, and it's honestly amazing! I had a really expensive one with my last but actually prefer this one! It's cheaper now than when I bought it lol. Limited-time deal: 【2023 Upgraded Model】 Double Electric Breast Pump, Breast Pump with 8 Breast Pouches and Adapters, Mechanical Buttons, Pain-Free, Powerful Express, Rechargeable Portable Silicone Breast Pump https://amzn.eu/d/0T2Tt8L

I have the Medela freestyle which is good. Last pregnancy I used the Elvie but I didn’t want to use them this time as they leaked and always broke!

I've got the momcozy s12 pros as I'd seen nothing but amazing things about them!

I bought the Bella baby electric pump from Amazon. So far I really like it! Easy to use, battery lasts forever, the parts are easy to clean and put together. Very good for the price. I do wish I had gotten one that just fits right into your bra like the MomCozy ones do. I know you can buy nursing bras to fit the other type of breast pumps but I find them so uncomfortable lol

Thanks everyone! 🥰
