How early can you tell what body parts are poking out with baby?

How do you tell what’s an elbow, a foot, a head or a bum?!? And when did you just know? First time mum so the idea baffles me as my baby is way too small for this yet so it’s hard to even imagine being able to tell

I could never tell what was what apart from the occasional foot. But i had anterior placenta xx

The only way I’m able to tell is if it’s a foot. It’s usually long swipes across my belly like he’s stretching. And then he does this foot thing like Thumper from Bambi.
Then I’m able to tell which direction he’s facing when he gets hiccups cuz hiccups come from the upper abdomen.
