Bottles and tests smell of washing up liquid?

Hi all, I’m nee to bottle feeding and I’ve noticed that after washing/sterilising the bottles and tests smell strongly of washing up liquid? I am rinsing them so I’m not sure if this is just normal? Anyone know how I can get rid of the smell?

Which dish soap are you using?

I use the milton bottle cleaner. For us, it doesn't leave a smell at all, nor does it leave a residue, or leave bubbles stuck to the parts. X

I used the Milton bottle cleaner no smell or residue left x

I use fairy liquid for everything but found it’s quite strong, so just dilute it a little with water and then make sure I rinse with hot water rather than just filling up a bowl of soapy water and leaving to dry as I’ve seen some people do. I then steam sterilised and didn’t notice any washing up liquid smell x

I use the dapple bottle cleaner. It doesn't smell or leave residue. But I also sterilize
