Eurostar - ready made formula

Has anyone taken large amounts of ready made formula bottles on the Eurostar? Their policy is a little confusing - powdered formula is clearly permitted but I'm not so sure on unopened bottles. A bit worried about it getting confiscated! I hear ready made formula isn't really a thing in France so think we'll struggle to get some when we're there. Any advice appreciated! Thanks

when travelling any baby products such as milk/baby food are permitted theres no limit on quantity I would just pack most things in your luggage & only have what you need available in hand luggage/baby bag for the journey itself

Even through security/hand luggage you can take as much as you need, no limit. I overpacked in fear luggage might get lost and went through with a whole tub of formula, sealed pre made bottles and two hot flasks of water 🤣 no issues

Thank you both, this is really helpful and I now feel less anxious about it! x

Thank you! X

I know this was a while ago, but can you take the ready made formula bottles into France? I wanna take around 5 packs of the 6 bottles? Is that gonna be an issue?

It was absolutely fine on the Eurostar. When we flew with readymade bottles a couple of weeks ago they just took a couple to put through a special scanner

Thank you so much! So when I get to France I just go through passport control and they don’t check bags again? I can’t remember what happened last time and I didn’t have a baby either at that time!
