What do you use for your toddler when you take them swimming? Which is better and why? Thanks 🙏

The puddle jumpers are the best as you don’t have to hold them constantly. - I found the float vests a bit rubbish I didn’t find them very safe x

I went to Blackpool over the weekend, I used float vests for my Oct 2021 son, and baby float for my 11 months old. I saw some people using float ring for their toddlers too.

A Float vest was perfect for my daughter. Just got back from Jamaica and found it really helped her confidence in the water and encouraged her to ‘swim’. She had armbands on a previous holiday and admittedly she was younger but they were more of a hinderance than a help. I got the float vest from amazon and you can take out the floats in the vest one by one as they get better at swimming independently so should last her a while x

Armbands, the good old armbands x

We used armbands with a pool noodle tied around his waist. Now he’s fully independent with armbands only.

Swim vest for us!!! We went to turkey last October for 2 weeks and within them 2 weeks she learnt to swim on her own with the vest on 🥹 and since then she’s always asking us to go “kick kick” which is the pool in other words 😂

When we take our girl swimming we use circular polystyrene type floats as that’s what they used during lessons. We go on holiday soon but we will take inflatable armbands as they’re flat pack!

Thanks for your help everyone!! This is super useful 💕🙏 xx
