Has anyone else’s little one started to crawl like this?
He started crawling a week and a half ago and refuses to use two knees 😅

Learn more about our guidelines.Yes my boy does this 🤣 I think he’s figured out how to do it with less impact on his knees. If we’re upstairs on the carpet he does two knees more. But downstairs on the floor he does this a lot more x
My little boy does this!! 😅
After doing normal crawling for a good few weeks, my boy started doing this when he crawled across grass. Probably didn't like the feel of it at first. He's started doing it more often now when on hard floors. They must have figured out how to reduce the impact.
Just curious as I feel like I’m being petty but I thought I’d ask. I made what I thought was a good mum friend a while ago but after a string of comments on my parenting and then the final breaking point was making unkind comments about my daughter that made my daughter cry because she said it in front of her to her own children I decided it was best to end the friendship. I said it politely and just said that I couldn’t have my daughter around someone like that and I wished her and her girls the best.
Well now probably my closest mum friend is hanging out with her a lot and they’ve gone on family days out etc.
Am I being petty? Would you be a little hurt by it?
I just wouldn’t entertain someone who spoke negatively about my close friends children or her parenting. I don’t know I guess I feel a little hurt 🫣
* I’d NEVER tell my friend who she can’t and can be friends with. I’m an adult and can deal with it quietly and be happy for her to have another friend but really.. it has to be THAT friend?!* 😂

Hey, Mama's, my daughter just had her 9 months check up at 10 months, and she isn't meeting any of her milestones. She doesn't sit up on her own, doesn't crawl, she only rolls over. She doesn't recognize objects when I talk to her about them. She also doesn't put anything in her mouth, so even if I give her a teether or a Maria cookie, she just throws it on the floor. So, my pediatrician referred us to a physical therapist. Did anyone else experience this with their child? She's my 3rd, and my 2 oldest were early in everything. I should add that she's been through 2 eye surgeries. She does have to patch her good eye 4 hours a day to improve vision in the eye she had surgery in. I am pretty sure that's the reason for her delay, but I am still a little anxious.

So I stopped BF at 3 weeks old and I stopped for 2 reasons
1) I hated what it was doing to my boobs and wanted one thing for myself since all of me belonged to my child
**(I know some of you may think that’s selfish on my part but my baby was strong and healthy and I asked my doctor what they thought before I stopped)**
2) i was going back to work and didn’t wanna stop working and go and pump every two hours because my work place was pretty fast paced and I didn’t wanna do that and it took about 45 minutes for me to set up and pump and then take everything down.
I want to restart since I am now a sahm.
Has anyone ever stopped and restarted after a few months??? If you did how was it? What did you do to restart your supply??

I’m 5 week PP and have had mastitis twice, the first time resulted in hospital admission. I’m express breast feeding due to poor latch etc. I have such nipple trauma and pain which is not healing. I can’t bring myself to make the decision to stop breast feeding due to a feeling of guilt and failure. Any one else been through this?

No judgement please but I just wondered how often you check nappies? I tend to wait a couple of hours unless I hear her poo in which case I’ll change her straight away. This morning at 5:35am I put her down in the next to me after a feed thinking when my husband got up for work 25 mins later I’d wake up and change her, but then I didn’t wake up until 7:15 (and he didn’t know I’d not done it) and so she wasn’t changed for about 4 hours (from the last feed) and I feel so guilty 😭 but it’s made me wonder if I should be doing it more during the day too. She’s breastfed so does go in her nappy a lot but I don’t really check for wees. She gets so hysterical when she gets changed it breaks my heart so I probably put it off a little bit too.

My 5 week old will go to sleep after a feed around 10/10:30pm BEAUTIFULLY. However once she has woken around 1:30-2am and we have changed and fed her (in low red light, no talking etc), she will be put down for all of 15 minutes before she is loudly grunting which leads to crying. It's worth saying that we are having to keep her upright for 20-30 minutes after each feed due to reflux.
She has recently been diagnosed with CMPA and has been moved onto prescribed milk with gaviscon for her reflux. We thought the discomfort from that was keeping her up but it isn't.
We are really struggling with this wake up time. Once we've spent an hour or two trying to get her back to sleep, one of us is forced to get up for the day with her around 4am.
I know she's very young, but any tips for getting her back down after that middle of the night feed would be greatly appreciated just to get a little more sleep.
