Milk in Crete, Greece

Hey everyone! We are travelling to Crete with our toddler and he still loves his cows milk, has anyone been to Crete/Greece and is able to advise if they sell fresh whole milk like what we have in the UK? Or is it just that UHT stuff? Not sure if we need to buy some formula or we’ll be ok with their cows milk!? Thanks so much!

I’m pretty sure you will be able to, you can get loads of Greek dairy items, yogurt feta etc so I’m sure milk will be available 😀

Out of interest which hotel are you going to? We are really struggling to find toddler friendly holiday 🤦‍♀️😅 x

I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to get fresh milk, but even if it’s harder to find the UHT stuff is fine for toddlers (although I know it doesn’t quite taste the same).

Awesome thank you ladies, we’ve never bought formula before so I’m glad I don’t have to go down that wormhole of choosing which one! Xx

ah we’ve gone with a villa instead of a hotel, just to hopefully have a few more home comforts and space, it’s our first ever time going away with LO, and my parents are coming too. My partner’s main reason for wanting a villa was that we can put Felix to bed and then just chill out in the garden or do whatever like we do at home, whereas at a hotel I guess once the baby is in bed you’d have to stay in the room? But yeah, can’t wait! Hope you find somewhere! (But you’re right when I was deciding and looked at hotels as well, I couldn’t really find any that were family vibes, except a couple of massive ones that were £1000’s!!) xx
