Meet ups / baby groups
Hello 👋 I’m new to Wimbledon Park / Merton area. We’ve had a very chaotic first year with our baby girl who is 1 in July (how does it go so fast?). We used to live in Earlsfield, then moved to Belfast (decided it’s not for us) and moved back to London in this area. Eager to get my baby girls engaging with other little ones around her age and also make some new mommy friends as most of my friends don’t have babies. Are there any meet ups? Groups etc that anyone would recommend? 😊

Merton strollers do a walk in Morden hall park every Monday. Or I’d suggest local library groups? Morden library have a rhyme time every Tuesday and Friday!
Merton strollers is free and we meet every Monday at 11 am at the entrance to the stable yard at Morden Hall Park. We start with a walk around the park then use one of the rooms at the stable yard to get some toys out and let the littles ones play. We also have a WhatsApp group to keep in touch and share any mum and child related news.

Hi Lisa, I have the same problem, my friends are living far from here and those who are close haven't any kids, I love to meet some new mommy and kids can play together at lest
I also joined Merton strollers as moved to London two weeks before my son was born and knew no one. Then only after a couple of months of going the mum who lead the walk had to go back to work so they needed someone to take over. As I didn’t want the walks to stop I offered to lead the walks and now been doing it for a few months. It’s been really good to be able to meet other mums and get out the house which has then led to finding out about other activities to do with my son during the week. So glad I found Merton Strollers 😊
