How much infant gaviscon to give??

Also do I use it every feed?

My daughter has 5oz with 1 sachet and when we give the occasional 6oz i still only put one in and her reflux seems to be fine. We use it with every feed as she will just throw up without it but I’ve seen other people just give it in the morning/night bottle.

If he weighs less than 9.9 lbs then just 1 sachet per feed. I would advise though starting off with it in morning feed and nighttime feed, just to help prevent any initial side effects of constipation! My baby did get constipated but it eased after lots of tummy massages and a few days once he got used to it. He is now 5 months old and has 2 sachets in every bottle per day. It helps so much, my nephew only needs 2 sachets in his morning bottle and 2 in nighttime bottle. So start off minimal to see how he gets on before you have it in more bottles ☺️ x

If they weigh less than 4.5kg you put 1 sachet into anything over 115mls, if they weigh over 4.5kg then you can put 2 sachets into anything over 225mls
And you would usually put in every feed as long as they don’t have more than 6 feeds in 24hrs x
