Most of them do nowadays. Your income needs to be 30.5x the rental amount to confirm you can afford to live there. I've got the same issues at the moment with being on mat leave they don't class the UC top up I'm entitled too as income and my pay slips deem I don't earn enough 🙈🤷♀️

I don’t know of any estate agents that wouldn’t ask for payslips really
my last agency didn't last year, but they might be unusual 😭
Yeah, it's so frustrating. I've never ever not been able to pay my rent on time, but apparently that doesn't matter 🙄 I do work as well as getting UC top up and child maintenance, so I can easily afford it, but they just don't take any of that in to account 😭 it's getting the stage where I'm like do I need to fake payslips in order to rent a tiny flat?!

Only think you can do - which is what we've now had to do - is avoid all agencies and find a private landlord that accepts UC for the top up. I've never had to claim in my life so had no idea it was so hard! 🙈

Absolutely, it’s just security of proof of regular income. We were with Let’s Move, and I know that Lifestyle do also
