Missed miscarriage stories

Research suggest chances of miscarriage decrease after seeing a heartbeat, it’s impossible to determine likelihood though as usually miscarriage before 12 weeks is due to chromosomal abnormalities, so regardless of what we do, we cannot control the outcome. We had a missed miscarriage with my first pregnancy at 10 weeks (baby had stopped growing at 9 weeks), I then went on to have a successful pregnancy the following month!

It’s so hard not to worry as I feel totally the same but try to be positive and trust your body and the process that’s happening 🩷

I’m feeling this aswell hun, I’m 11 weeks saw a heartbeat at 7 weeks and I’ve felt completely fine barely any symptoms.
It’s a rough old journey x

I'm worrying the same..I had a miscarriage in February at 8 weeks after seeing a heart beatnat 6 weeks.
So this time around I am.terrifuedntjat even though we saw a heartbeat at 6 weeks ,there will be nothing there at 12 😭

I had a very late missed miscarriage at 17 weeks . Saw the baby at 12 weeks everything was good . Then we booked a private gender scan at 17w just to be told the baby had passed away around 16 w and we had no idea . Had to be induced and give birth . Waited 2 months for autopsy result for everything to come back normal apart from the umbilical cord which seemed to be longer than it should and had wee knots in it so they said that could have been the reason why the baby passed . I’m 10 weeks now really scared and anxious . Had 3 scans already baby seems good but I just know that miscarriages can happen at any point in pregnancy .

My baby sadly died at 11+4 found out at 12 week scan I was so naive as we had a healthy looking 7 week scan. We’ve got a private scan booked in for 9+4 this Sunday will offer little reassurance but will be nice to see baby and will hopefully help prepare me for my 12 week scan im full of nerves and anxiety about scans x
