Sweep?

Same and same! Also due on the 1st and was referred for a scan on Friday due to bump measuring small (smaller than a few weeks ago). The scan showed all was fine, and they said bump measurements are very inaccurate especially at the end as the baby is moving down into the cervix. Thought it was a bit of an unnecessary scare but no harm in having a scan to be sure :)

As for the sweep, that’s very personal, I’ve said no thanks for the time being, and have a 41 week appt booked and may do it then but will see how I feel.

I would say go with how you feel and don’t feel pressured into having it done if you don’t want to, it’s your choice. Good luck with the final stretch! X

I have my midwife appt on Thursday, I’ll be 40+1 and she has offered me a sweep. I think I’m going to do it because I’m intrigued to see if there is any progress at all, but I’m also a little nervous for it.
I understand why people don’t want them though, it’s so personal isn’t it! X

I’m also due on the 1st and was offered a sweep for 39 weeks so went ahead with that on Monday but nothing has come of it currently. I’ve got another booked for Friday and I’ve been told if it doesn’t work I can be induced next week
