From 2 to 3 children....

How are you feeling about the transition from having 2 children to now 3? How will you make sure the other two children feel secure as well?
I'm currently a boy mom, to a 12 and 6 years old. I'm super excited for the baby stage and starting over again.
I'm making sure to spend time with the boys and creating new memories with them as well. I did this with my first before his brother was born in 2018. We went on lunch dates and explored NYC like we were tourists. This time, it'll probably be the same, but I'm going on separate lunch dates. And making sure I dive into their interests more, I figured it's all about balance.

Hey girl! My mom told me the exact same thing about balance. She said that it’s a hard thing trying to make time for them all. I don’t think it has to be hard. I feel nervous but very excited! What I’m thinking about is finding time for my husband fr πŸ˜‚
I have two girls! 11 and 2. I am worried my two year old would be very jealous. She’s already demanding and very very attached to me. It sounds like you are well prepared already, so I’ll need some tips from you! lol ❀️ Are you hoping for a girl this time around? I really want a son this time. 😭πŸ₯Ή

@Fran yess everyone and their mama is rooting for a girl. So fingers crossed. I heard to include the younger one. Include her so she doesn't feel left out. My 6 years old is clingy as well, but I am so excited for him to be a big brother.
As far as the husband's goes, lol date night and weekly check-ins. Lots of sexy time πŸ˜…

@Fran are you hoping for a boy?

My boys are 5 and 2. I actually feel a lot better about this pregnancy than I did about the last one. My oldest is (generally) a really great big brother. I'm just trying to make sure they all get some good quality time with me individually and together.

I can relate my second pregnancy wasn't the best. It drained me so much. I was Extremely depressed.
Yess family time is so important. I hope you get all the time in with your little ones.
