I keep some prune pouches on hand for emergencies. You can try that or prune juice. Make sure your baby is hydrated too

My daughter has awful constipation no matter what. So she takes a teaspoon of miralax daily. But that's by recommendation of her doctor. Pear juice, found in the baby aisle, works great. Any "p fruits" - pears, peaches, prunes. Warm bath. Belly massage. And hyrate with water as tolerated if she's above a year old. It's so tough - I hated seeing my daughter so uncomfortable! I'm sorry!

i buy my baby girl apple prune juice & alternate that & water rather any dairy! she also eats apple prune in gerbers. she isn’t totally unconstipated but it definitely helps. she struggles so so bad & we have to help pull out her poop sometimes.

Thank you ALL so much!!! I gave her apple and prune juice, and belly massage. She has had three bowel movements since I posted this. The first one was so hard and large, I had to physically help hand express it out. She was screaming. The second was less hard, and then finally we had a soft bowel movement with no tears. THANK YOU for the suggestions. That was so hard to see her in that much pain. No more dairy!!!

I give my baby a glycerin suppository if he didn’t poop for 3 days. It’s called pedialax and my pediatrician said that I can give it to him.

thank you!! I’ll ask her pediatrician about this as well.

Health Visitor Home Visit

Hii, could anyone explain what the health visitor does on their home visit?

Also if anyone had a home birth, what the midwife home risk assessment involves?

I’ve got 3 home visits coming up in the next two weeks (health visitor, midwives and doula) and it’s making me nervous for some reason. I think having 3 just feels like a lot and a bit invasive if that makes sense!

Did you know this was a thing?

Didn’t know this existed! I’m actually not breastfeeding 2nd time round (though wish I did) after a bad experience with my 1st baby. But this is something I 100% needed 1st time round.

Screeching baby

I have twin boys, 5months.

One is very quiet

The other... is like a pterodactyl who screeches when bored, tired, hungry, as soon as he wake up to be held etc...
This habit has only just started!

Has anyone else experienced this and how long did it last?
So far it has been about 5 days 😭😭😭😭

Fighting naps

Does anybody else feel like they spend all day trying to get baby to nap? I get tempted to give up as he must not be that tired but he is too cranky to play or do anything else!

Joie Signature Parcel LX lightweight stroller

Has anyone got this stroller? Up until now we have used our mamas and papas ocarro and we love it. However we are going on holiday in June and looking at a lightweight stroller to take with us. I'm not bothered if it fits in overheard locker, I would rather have decent wheels on the stroller and this one does have slightly bigger wheels than most travel strollers we have seen. Has anyone used this stroller abroad or got any other recommendations? TIA x
