My baby is 3 weeks 5 days and seems to have a cold, she has a slight cough and seems to be congested, she’s not settled at night and is more congested when lay flat, seems to be more fussy however had no temp, seems ok in herself apart from the fussiness, still having wet and dirty nappies. Any advice ?

No advice, but we are in the same place. I’m sick too and I was tested for flu/COVID (all negative), so it’s almost certainly just a cold, but definitely no fun!
I’m just keeping an eye on his temperature and making sure to use saline and a nasal aspirator to clear his nose a few times a day as needed. I will probably be calling my pediatrician today just to make sure I don’t need to bring him in and if they say anything useful I’ll let you know!
thankyou! Xx

This is what our pediatrician said:
Turn shower on hot, close the door, sit him upright in there for 10-15 minutes. When he comes out use saline spray in one side of nose, shut other side with finger, and suction. Then switch sides and do the opposite nostril.
He can have 5-15 ml of a warm liquid 4 times a day. They used apple juice as an example. No honey.
Use a humidifier with only water in whatever room he’s in. Don’t use Vick’s or anything on him or inside the humidifier.
He’s 4 months old, so the juice thing may be less or none for your LO since they are only 3 months, but everything else should be fine/useful for you guys too definitely since it’s just water/humidity! And I definitely used the nasal aspirator with him when he was younger than 3 months too.
