Custard for baby

Can 10 month old have ambrosia custard pots with some fruit mashed in or baby rusks ? Or do we avoid these and only use baby custard which already had fruit in it ? Just not sure before buying and don't have anyone to ask

I don't see any harm is adding fruit to it instead of buying the pre added fruit ones but the normal ambrosia custard might have more sugar added to it. They do a babg version too
Make sure the fruits you add are cut in age appropriate size. If your unsure about sizing or how or what to give your baby the Solod Starts app is excellent in helping calming your nerves especially when your trying a new type of food
It tells you how best to serve the food based on babys age range

@Carina thankyou for your advice . I usually just mash the fruit unless it's banana 😆

I personally wouldn't give either thing you've mentioned because of the sugar content x

@HL I guess so do we wait untill they are one years old ? I trust give some sort of pudding after a lunch and dinner so was thinking of new ideas x

You could make your own custard if you’re worried about sugar

I used to. Occasionally as the sugar content can be quite high. But my lo loves them! Since around 7/8m

OK as a treat I'm.not too worried about the sugar content as I only want to mix 2 spoons into some fruit and rusk just to give it a touch sweetness. It's each to their own I guess I don't mind too much x

Mom brain is real 😂 trust me I know but also being a parent is a busy time and not everyone has the time to make everything from scratch everyday. You do you mama, you got this and you know what’s best for you guys xx
