Aptamil Pepti 1 & returning CMPA symptoms
My little boy was given aptamil Pepti 1 at 6 weeks due to a suspected dairy allergy. As soon as we started the milk we saw an immediate difference in him, no longer has the tummy aches, less sickness, stools became regular, only once every three days but always went on the third day and the consistency was no longer mucussy whereas before he would be up a down between constipation and diarrhoea. However the past two weeks he has began to be a lot more fussy again, sickness has increased and is back to projectile vomiting, mucus poos are back and he started to go every other day to every day and the past 24hrs every feed. Seeing a Dr this afternoon but on the phone he told me he thinks it's unrelated to his CMPA. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes! We’ve been on it a month and already going backwards. We’re also going to the doctor this afternoon.
He’s so congested, squirming during feeds, unsettled for hours afterwards. Day naps have gone from couple hours to max 30 mins. If he’s awake he’s crying 😔 his poo is really seedy as well
I felt as though I was going crazy!! Yep if he isn't on me naps are 20-30 mins Max's and if he is asleep on me he cries in his sleep a pained cry 😢. He is drinking less now as well and cries whilst feeding. Fingers crossed the drs listen and we get our settled bubba's back xx
Yes pepti really helped at first but it still has cows milk in it so it took longer for a reaction. My little on is on Alfamino now which has 0 cows milk
The Dr has changed the milk and referred to a dietician 🙌🏽x
what have they put you on? We have neutremagen … if that doesn’t work I think then we will go to the dietician by the sounds.
he didn't tell me he just said an amino one and it isn't ready at the pharmacy yet 🤦🏽♀️.
