I’m a Sahm & my son is in school so I read a lot. Mostly romance but I’ve been trying to get into more thrillers over the last couple months (they have to be fast paced tho) gray after dark & behind closed doors are good thrillers I’ve read (:

Romance and thrillers are my favorite genres. There is a book club that was started by one of the moms on here that I am in.

I set a reading challenge for this year but can’t seem to add books to the books read

I just added you to my friends. So I just started the reading challenge but I can’t add books I read this year to it. Weird

how was Ugly love? I kind of want to read that and addicted to you sounds good too

ugly love was really good! The addicted series was great too but the first book was my favorite. The third book was the ending for that couple & the book was longer than it needed to be. Kind of seemed dragged out to me

do you like Colleen Hoover? I read some of her books. I like most of the ones I read but I don’t like the maybe series.

hi Charisma. I like romance too. The thrillers that I read, I can’t seem to get hook to it. Maybe you can recommend excellent ones for me. I tend to like romance novels more. I used to love horror.

so far Jeneva Rosa and Frieda McFadden have been my favorite and have not disappointed.

I read Jeneva Rose you shouldn’t have come here and I found it too slow. It’s not bad but not good enough for me to continue reading her books. I think I placed frieda McFadden book on hold in the library. I am currently reading Love, Lies and cherry pie by Jackie Lau. It’s pretty good so far

so far I haven’t found any thrillers that I like but I noticed that you tend to give five stars to thrillers and 2-4 stars to Romance novels. I just figured out how to start adding books that I read this year to the challenge. I am actually up to my 11 book this year but I think I can easily reach 50 books even if I just started reading. I can read a 300 page book in about 4 days so I believe I can do about 50 books by the end of this year

I finished you shouldn’t have come here yesterday and it was definitely a slower one. I feel like if that would’ve been the first one of her books that I read I may have been turned off. The first one I read was The Perfect Marriage and followed up with One of Us is Dead and enjoyed them both. I will add Love, Lies and Cherry Pie to my TBR list.

some people might not like jackie lau style of writing. She kind of rambles complaints but I identify with that. I am kind of like that lol. Thanks for trying to be my reading friend. I put one by one and never lie on hold in the library. I am like number 40 on the hold so it might take half a year lol

thanks for the heads up! I have about an eight week wait to get it from my library. I’ll keep you posted on my thoughts. Hopefully readers 1-39 finish fast so you don’t have to wait too long 😂

I recently just figured good reads out as well! I would definitely say I read more thrillers and have better luck with them! That’s awesome you can definitely get there! ☺️

hey I finished Love, Lies and cherry pie. It was unrealistic towards the 1/3 end of the book. I thought I will read more of her books but I think I will stop here. But you can try it. I am currently reading Colleen hoovers Heart Bones. I just started. It’s pretty good so far. I only read about 20pages.

I finally figured out how to put books read in my reading challenge. I read 11 books this year but I got one book done on the reading challenge so it’s a good start. What are you reading?
