7 month old not sitting up on his own.
Hey ladies,
should I be worried that my 7 month old isn’t able to sit on his own yet?
He’s constantly wanting to roll around or move and he’s trying to crawl so every time I tried help him sit he’s just flinging himself forward or sideways to roll again!

My LO is exactly the same. Is rolling constantly and trying to crawl but when I try to help him sit he flings himself backwards.
Mine neither!
I wouldn’t worry hun every baby is different and do skills in different ways than others if you get me but it’s between 7-9 months ❤️ if your worried could always ring your HV maybe give you peace of mind xx
My baby is 7 months next week and can’t sit unaided yet either just with support x
Ladies there’s hope! I literally wrote this post and the next day he was sitting unaided for about 5 minutes at a time😂 hang in there!! Xx
Hey ladies, may I ask if you’ve already started weaning. I have a January baby, just hit 5 months yesterday and we’re no where near sitting unaided, just wondering if he hasn’t hit this skill by 6 months do I hold off on weaning !? X
no you can absolutely start weaning! My baby is 8.5 months and still not sitting for long periods unaided. We started first tastes at 5 months and she loves her food xx
