LBhurt from table edge. Looking for recommendations for ointment

Hi mums,

My LB is 10 months old and since he is trying stand up on his own he got hurt by the edge of table. There is a red mark in middle of nose. He did cry for 1-2 minutes and seem to be fine after that. But the area is red. Should I be applying any ointment?

Hey, I wouldn’t apply any ointment we have had a lot of bumps over here, they are prone at this age. My advice would be if your worried about swelling apply a cold compress like an ice lolly wrapped in a tea towel for example. Apart from that if he seems himself I wouldn’t stress too much 🤗

Whenever my little bumps her head (she’s a daredevil) and she’ll be 10months in a few days, I use my face roller that sits in the freezer to roll where she’s bumped herself. She’s quite the light bright, so it helps and she never has mark show up.
If it’s not a scratch or broken skin he shouldn’t need any ointment.

Arnica cream helps x

Vaseline only on cuts and whatnot because it doesn’t cause damage like antibiotic ointment
