Does anybody know if this means things are going to move quickly now in terms of going into labour? I'm 36weeks today. Been having slot of twinges, lighting crotch and a few days where I've found it very uncomfortable to stand straight i would say like Braxton hicks symptoms.

You will probably go into labor sometime in the next week or two I would make sure that you have everything you need ready

I got examined the day i went into labour and wasn’t engaged at all apparently. I had been having pains I told them about it they said it’s nothing but it was labour lol. I was raging because they were supposed to give me a sweep but didn’t because baby wasn’t engaged. Think everyone’s body is just so different xx

this isn’t factual at all. Engagement means pretty little unfortunately. Just wait for Labour to start, your baby knows when they’ll be ready.

I was hoping it was coming soon, I've read it can be like this for a while yet tho 🤔🫣😭

I’m speaking from my experience

I did 2 years training as a midwife and most the time engagement really doesn’t mean anything it just means baby is in the right position which is a positive but doesnt mean labour is close it obviously could be but at 36 weeks you would still be classed as pre term until 37 weeks xx

I was fully engaged for 4 weeks before labour began

Means nothing unfortunately. Just position of baby’s head in pelvis
