Anyone been pregnant while their child has had chickenpox?
My niece has come down with chickenpox and we were together the day before the spots appeared. No doubt my son is going to come down with it and want to be aware of the risks as a pregnant woman if / when it comes. Has anyone been through this? I’m 20 weeks

My son had it last year while I was pregnant, have you had chickenpox? It’s only bad if your not immune or not had them yet.
yes I’ve had them! I’m not concerned about catching it but just wondering whether I need to be careful around my son if he gets it
You’ll be fine then as you’ve had them it’s only an issue if your haven’t had them and catch them when pregnant. I’m not immune to chicken pox and I was around my son as I had no choice and me and baby was fine
