How long do your breast fed babies nurse these days?

My daughter does the same thing!

As long as you get enough wet diapers throughout the day that’s all you should worry about

Pretty much the same. Does your son nurse through the night?

Nope he goes from 7 pm to 7 am with no feeds. I do one pump before bed at 10.

Do you nurse on both sides or just one? My little would do that when I was only nursing him on one side & his doctor told me to start switching sides after 6-7mins, now he averages about 10ish minutes each feed.

@Katie how do you do that? I cant even get her to sleep through the night. No matter what time i put her to sleep, shes up at 2 or 3 am. Is he sleeping from 7 to 7?

@MadhaviTo be honest I don’t know how much was our training and how much was his temperament. At our 4 month check up our pediatrician said to stop doing our dream feed and the 5am feed we were doing- he didn’t need them. He had demonstrated before that he could go all night without a feed. So we stopped feeding him at night and he started sleeping better. We never did any official sleep training, but did put him down awake and let him fuss a little to put himself to sleep. And when he’d wake at night we did the Taking Cara Babies SITBACK method to make the wakes less rewarding. He now sometimes wakes and fusses for like 30 seconds or less and then goes back down.
