Did you use a nursing pillow to breast feed? Do you think it's a necessary purchase? I'm due in September and looking for opinions before I purchase one š

I used mine all the time with my first! We had one upstairs & one downstairs. I plan to do the same this time around too āŗļø

Theyāre helpful, but I donāt always use it as itās a hassle trying to grab it sometimes when heās hungry and wants to eat right then.

u can also do tummy time with the boppy.

If itās your first time breastfeeding they can be helpful. I personally donāt like the boppy tho it always slipped and didnāt fit where I wanted it so I never use it for nursing. I did love mybreastfriend pillow but with my second I just used my pregnancy pillow or just one pillow to prop up my arm. But if itās your first time figuring it out it can be nice to just have it cuz itās a lot figuring out latching and keeping the baby in right position all that.

I used it a lot during the first few months. Iād definitely get it if i got pregnant again

I use part of my sleepy belly pregnancy pillow as a nursing pillow. Helps bring the baby to the right height so I dont need to bend over or him. I find OT very useful. Any pillow that brings the baby to the right level can work.

Yes! A triangle one, hugely helpful to transfer baby after feeding and theyāre asleep so you can get up lol x

I really didnāt need mine

Couldn't have fed without mine

I preferred a regular pillow, the boppy didnāt fit well for nursing. I do like the boppy for play time though

I used a regular pillow with my first, I havenāt bothered with anything this time though. But Iād still recommend using something as I sit at awkward angles to feed and Iāve now got pain in my hip. Best to keep a good posture for your sake

I use mine at every feeding, unless I am laying down then I do side feeding

My breast friend is THE best pillow in my opinion.

Yes

When I was pregnant I got a big v shaped pillow to sleep with, it was so comfortable! I occasionally use it as a nursing pillow- it was very useful for feeding in the early days post c-section, but I wouldnāt say it was essential
