I have a question
I can’t see my vagina while I’m pregnant so my question is how do you shave before you go into labor

My boyfriend does it

thanks ill ask my husband

you can also place a mirror under you and use the mirror and ur fingers to guide you

thanks so much
Idk when I’m going into labor
I have a doctor appointment tomorrow and I’m 37 weeks and 1 day today

Do you have to shave down there???

I try to but since I can’t see I’ll just let my husband do it

if you have a c section they will more than likely shave you themselves if you have hair on the incision line but you don’t have to shave anything at all it’s a preference really

Up to you! I didn’t shave with my first and probably won’t this time either lol

I use a mirror & cream removal

No. There’s a chance you give yourself microabrasians that could lead to microtears that could lead to bigger ones

I honestly will use a mirror or wax ! I will say waxing has been a lot more painful since being pregnant though . My Dr. says it's because the increased hormones that cause such sensitivity.

girl when i tell you this has been my saving grace for trimming? its so good. i literally just sit on the toilet with my legs spread and trim up, its the only way i can reach at this point. i dont care about being clean shaven for labor but its been nice trimming as needed

oh okay thank you

Ouch , thank you for the info

thank you and I’ll look at it now

I just added it to my Amazon cart

Girl no lol the doctors and nurses definitely do not care about that, the most important thing to them is the health and safety of you and your baby.

I bought a mirror! But I am afraid to snip 🥲😅 maybe I can convince a man to help me out … my sister is certainly not interested… I am considering that wax tho.

I’ve been waxing for years and I usually get waxed pretty regularly. It’s true that it is more sensitive during pregnancy. But it’s not a big deal to me.

Shaving actually increases the risk of infection so it's not recommended unless you have a C-section in which they may need to shave a little around where the incision line is, but only if your hair goes up that far. However, if it makes you more comfortable then I would recommend having your spouse do it to minimize the risk of cuts. I can tell you that no nurse/obgyn/midwife is going to be the least bit surprised about a full bush. In fact, they would probably be more surprised if you were fully shaved.

I did it . I trimmed lmao

You don't have to shave unless you want to. I personally use a trimmer because shaving leaves me with painful bumps and ingrown hairs. I'm only still trimming because if I don't, I feel itchy. You definitely don't have to though. If you want to, bring a stool in the bathroom and set up a mirror so you can see.
