Breastfeeding/swimming

What do you do to prevent leaks while swimming with your baby? I don't feel like wearing reusable or disposable pads will work 🤔

Depends on how much you leak, but I used to use those silicon nipple covers that women often wear to go bra free. They basically helped hold things in. But definitely as a breast-feeding mama you don’t want to wear them for more than a little bit while you’re swimming!

I wasn’t aware this was something to be concerned about!? What is the concern if a little milk were to leak out while swimming?

My swim suit comes with padding around the breasts which prevents me from leaking

I view it like my period if that makes sense? I’m 32+5 and leak like no tomorrow. Like, the disposable nursing pads and fabric ones won’t work, because they’ll get all waterlogged. But silicone covers (not the sticky ones, those don’t stay on in the pool 😒, or even an extra bra pad in your swim top should do the trick. I personally use the double bra pad method. Nobody knows that I am constantly leaking because my body has a new mind, and it’s not mine anymore LOL

I didn’t do anything lol. If I started leaking after I got out of the water I either expressed a bit or just threw a pad in there!
