Are there any vbac mums that are overdue? I’ve just turned 40 weeks today and worried about the pressure I’m going to get from the hospital about an induction. I have been refusing induction now as baby and me have been healthy. But I’m now worried that they’re going to pressure be into an elective or induction.

Yep I’m a vbac mama also due today. If you feel well enough, there should be no reason to not keep trucking on. I am booked for an induction on the 3rd July, but plan to speak to the consultant at the time to request me to continue until 42 weeks. They have a right to inform you of the risks, but you have the ultimate decision making power. Good luck mama, I hope you go naturally soon xx

Vbac mama here. I’m 41+1 today. Consultant suggested induction @41 weeks due to GD which I moved to 41+3 to give my body more time. I didn’t get any pressure and they respected my decision. They will just tell you the pros and cons and that’s it.
