hes booked in to see a doctor tmz they think it could be the newborn rash Erythema toxicum but with him been 5 weeks now they want to see it

Cmpa? X

I breastfeed x

my five week old, broke out in a rash, and it was a viral rash from having the flu, not saying that's what it is just that was my experience and I did have to fight to have something more done

U do have to fight thoe I agree or they don't care and just put it down to anything what did u have to do then? Was your little one showing any other signs because my son is absolutely fine in him self it just worries me seeing his skin this bad

He's had this not far of birth thoe it came on like this a few weeks after I would say so there saying its baby acne which it possibly could be and with the weather turning really hot last few days it's got worse so it could be heat flaring it up x

My five week old started to pull on her ears and started running a fever.

Baby could still have cmpa if breastfed if your diet contains dairy x

I don't think it's fever x

And I didn't even think of this will see what doctors say tmz then mention it x

I potentially think it's acne that has flared up with heat or maybe heat rash on top of acne who knows will see what doctor says tmz x

Good luck 🤞 hopefully it’s acne or heat related so you don’t need to change your diet if it were to be cmpa, as it’s amazing how much stuff contains dairy 🙏🏻 x

To me it looks alot like Ezema or baby acne. My son has broken out all over his body and it looked like this. The change of the weather is what flared his up really bad. Try luke warm bath, mild cleanser, pat him dry after bath and then put a fragrance free cream/ ointment on him (aquaphor ointment, cerave moisturizing lotion) see if that'll help him.

Personally I've never seen baby acne that bad. You're doing the right thing by getting a second opinion...we have to speak for our kiddos, especially if they can't.
