Advice: Baby crying inconsolably

My babe is 3 weeks old and cries inconsolably which only ends when he farts. It happens religiously every day around 10pm-12am, 3am-4am and 8am-9am - the crying is varying in pitch, he has a bright red face with screwed up eyes and a really tense body. He pumps his legs towards his chest and writhes around. Nothing I do seems to help, even putting him on my boob he rejects as he’s screaming/crying.

What would you recommend I do please. Is this normal?

Sounds like wind? How does he burp? Is he bottle fed? Have you tried infacol?

breastfed, trying infacol but still struggling (albeit haven’t used at every feed religiously) & doesn’t burp huge amounts it wouldn’t seem

thank you! And when your baby cries, does it seem like they’re in pain or it’s relieved by passing wind ? X

Id say more burping and tummy massages to help relieve the wind. There is this thing from frida baby that i was recommended https://frida.co.uk/products/windi

Have you tried windis? They help us on bad days

When baby is 4 weeks I used gripe water. I used the syringes we were given for collecting colostrum and just gave my little girl a squirt until it seemed to soothe her (not crying anymore) and then tried to burp her/tummy massage bicycle legs. I would say when my little girl was like this she it started at 3weeksish and I gave her the gripe water at 3w 5 days (cant give until 4 weeks) and it helped in the evenings when nothing could settle her x
