Nursing and pumping help

Hi, FTM here. I am exclusively breast feeding and I don’t really pump yet. My daughter is a month old. I sometimes use my Haaka on the opposite breast that she is eating. But I don’t every time, will this mess up my supply if I don’t every time? My daughter sometimes doesn’t eat for as long. Should I pump after to empty my breast if she doesn’t? I want to start pumping once in the morning, does this need to be the same time everyday? Any advice will help thank you! 😊

No ma’am it wont mess with your supply. You can pump after a feed and it’s usually just every 2-3 hours when baby feeds

Your breasts don’t know the difference between baby/haaka/pump. Your milk supply will respond to any stimulation the same, so it doesn’t matter what time per se just how often :) emptying your breasts after a feed is a good way to increase your supply as well
