Hello! We re looking into buying a house and we went to see one very close to chancellor park primary school. The area looks lovely! It seems quite close to the sewage works though so we're a bit concerned about potential smells? Could anyone tell me about their experience with this and also about living in the area in general and the school? I would really appreciate either a response here or private message if preferred. Thank you so much in advance!

You get smells certain times of the year but it’s not all the time and not regularly well not that I’ve smelled.
The area is lovely and chelmer village have so many parks about. My children go Barnes farm school which is opposite but I used to look after kids that went to Chancellor park and they really like it.
I’ve lived in Chelmer village most of my life, moved out of it for 8 years but couldn’t wait to get back it had a lovely feel to it x

I used to live in Chancellor Park on the road of the school. It’s a lovely, peaceful area and the school has a great rep. I won’t lie, it can get pretty stinky but it never lasts that long and isn’t all that often!
