I closed the case against my baby daddy because we didn't want to go to court and we have a agreement with each other. I receive food stamps and Medicaid so will they cut off my child's Medicaid now?

No they won’t Medicaid is separate and as long as your low income you and your kids will continue to get Medicaid hope that helps 😊
I have no income other than what I receive from the Father.

Go ahead and also apply for cash assistance you should also be able to get that and will help with bills and clothing and diapers and wipes etc

Let me know if you have more questions happy to help 😊
Ok I was told they would go after the father for child support again if I received that?

They will also help you get a job and locate a daycare for your child while you work

I’m in the process of that myself right now

It’s hard out there especially with kids and minimal support

The state usually enforces child support for you to get state benefits.

In my case we are married but are very low income I’m not quite sure how the process would be if your a single mom I know they do go after the father for child support but you can call Medicaid and explain the situation

I know they always help out a single mom with a kid or multiple kids
the state is the one who enforced it even though we sent in our agreement. My situation is complicated and I chose not to do child support because it will not be good for my child if her father ends up in jail over all this and the other situation he's in. I just don't want her to loose Medicaid over this

Call the Medicaid office and talk to them to see what the options are.
I work but it's not documented because it's just a babysitting job when the child is out of school and I don't get much but enough to take care of my child and the money I get from her father we get by. We have family that helps the best they can with everything else
