You are fine eating subway. Seriously. I’m 36 weeks and have had it quite a lot
Eat that subway! I eat at least 1 bmt a week and I don't even toast it and I'm about to have a healthy fat baby in the next 2 weeks.
The issue with deli meats is 1) they're not the healthiest (which means they are ok just in moderation), and 2) high(er) risk of foodborne illness, particularly listeriosis which causes serious issues in pregnancy. It's not a SERIOUSLY high risk but the risk is there. Toasting the sandwich should make it safe enough, listeria in particular can survive in refrigeration, but not cooking temperatures. Also make sure the sandwich artists change their gloves frequently (no handling meat and veg together), and ask them to use clean utensils to cut the sandwich, etc. I did this my entire pregnancy and they understood. In terms of health it's not the greatest thing, but a craving is a craving and if you can keep it down, go for it. Toast that bitch and enjoy guilt-free.
I’m 7 weeks and I’ve been craving it like crazy and have yet to have it. I cry every time🥺
I ate subway so much through my pregnancy, it was such a big craving and one of the only meals that didn't make me puke. Eat it!
I ate deli meats very often my entire pregnancy like prob had over 100 Wawa sandwiches you're good
Sounds like ur having a boy👀boys make you crave and eat meat I was the same with my son lol this time around I’m sweets and junk food with my daughter I can’t even tough meat
@Jeylynn I had a girl craved meat 24/7
@Monica everyone’s different I’m just saying it’s more common to hear that with boy genders 🤷🏽♀️
@Jeylynn I’ve noticed this to be very common with boys too. I just had my son about 3 months ago and my entire pregnancy I craved meat. Anything salty and savory tbh. All of my friends have boys and when I told them that’s what I was craving, they all said it was gonna be a boy
I'm 38+6 and I've had quite a few subways during this pregnancy, it's been one of my cravings 😂 and my little boy is very healthy measuring at 90th percentile
I’ve Eaton countless subways and other stuff told not to and baby is happy and healthy haha
I usually ask them to heat it for longer until the meat is steaming since it needs to reach steaming temps to cook off the bacteria that may or may not be present. Just ask for an extra long toasting and you’ll be set if you’re worried about it it
Girl yes have that subway sandwich
