Went to the doctors yesterday because my little girls temperature was 38.4 and had a rash but gave her calpol before going to the doctors and they said it’s just a viral infection but took her temperature this morning and it’s still up at 38 what should I do

it does bring it down but then within an hour and a half again she’s burning up but I strip her down to her nappy and still the same and she’s crying an awful lot more than usual
Kids do get this type of thing every now and again, mostly we just ride it out like we would ourselves, for a few days, but being that she’s so young, if you feel worried at all, call 111. They get priority being babies, so shouldn’t have to wait long. That link I sent also says what is a 999 call, just in case.
