Inside my head

I know my Ped says she’s great. And she gets enough wet/dirty diapers /day but I feel like she should be gaining/growing more each month. I know all babies are different and grow on their own pace… and she was born small so she’s going to be playing catch up for a while but I can’t help but to help I’m not making enough milk for her…. But when I offer more or the bottle she straight up refusing so she can’t be hungry. She’s fed on demand… I’m just paranoid I guess

Is she eating food yet? My little man was small for a while; in the 11th percentile at one point. Once we started puree he jumped to 40th percentile! She will catch up don’t worry !

My pediatrician told me, someone has to be the biggest just like someone has to be the smallest

My baby was 6 lbs at birth and 13.5 lbs now, so she’s under 1%. There was concern of her slow weight gain during months 4-6. I exclusively pump so we started fortifying her bottles with a little formula for the extra calories. She is still on the smaller side but her dietician and pediatrician aren’t worried anymore. I totally understand how you feel, I’ll probably always worry about her weight too. But you’re doing great, mama!

I feel like 6-8 ( just turned 8months) she hasn’t grown as much as she has in prior months maybe I’m just jumping the gun

I think a baby’s weight gain typically slow down at 6 months especially as they become more active. Just bring your concerns up again with her pediatrician at her next appointment, if it still isn’t reassuring, maybe seek a second opinion.
